You will be given a door to door car service on this tour, with a transfer from your hotel to the State Hermitage and returned safely back to your hotel after.
The State Hermitage is a beautiful museum of art and culture on the Palace Embankment. It is one of the largest and oldest museums on the planet, founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great and open to the public since 1852. Its collections comprise of nearly 3 million pieces, including the largest collection of paintings in the world. These fantastic collections occupy six buildings along the embankment, including the Winter Palace, a former home to the Russian emperors, full of historic moments.
Nowadays, not only will you get to see the great artistic masterpieces but you’ll also see the real treasures of gold and diamonds as you are invited in to the glory of the unique Diamond rooms of the hermitage and explore the fantastic atmosphere of the real treasure-house.
