Siberian Family Visit (with lunch)
"Tradition Siberian food, pelmeni"
When in Russia do what Russians do
To truly appreciate Novosibirsk for its incredible culture and its people, a one of a kind experience awaits you. Take a step off the beaten path, see life through the eyes of a local Siberian family, living in a countryside cottage by the Ob river, learn about life in Novosibirsk, while engaging with locals, and enjoying a home cooked meal at a local family home.
Your tour begins when you guide accompanies from your hotel to a local English-speaking family home. During your visit you you can discuss life, culture, and be part of the Russian traditions, all while enjoying a traditional Russian home-cooked lunch, which may include pelmeni, borsch or shchi (a cubbage soup).
Once you have finished your deliciously hearty meal, you can choose one or several activities with your hosts: visit a family of Siberian farmers, walk in the birch and pine woods nearby, visit the shores of Ob river or experience adventurous off-road driving in a Niva car. At the end of the tour you will embark on the journey back to the city, where your tour ends with your guide escorting you back to your hotel.
