Russian Vodka Museum Tour

"Russian Vodka"

Get a taste of authentic Russian Vodka

Your excursion begins when your tour guide escorts you from your hotel to the Museum, where inside you will find over 700 exhibits, and a large collection of branded Vodka. The history of vodka will be revealed to you while exploring the exhibits, with a detailed insight into the many ways vodka has been consumed and the impact it has had on Russian civilisation throughout the years.

Following on, your guide will transport you through time, on an incredible journey that begins in the 12th century taking you back to the beginning when production of vodka first began, to the state of the Russian Empire when vodka was sold by the bucket, through to the times of the Soviet Union. History will show you that Vodka was, and still is, an embedded facet of Russian culture.

Next you will discover the secret to the intoxicating, yet distinctive taste that has been so deviously disguised inside many of the unique bottles on display. Before concluding your tour, you will proceed to the museum’s tavern for vodka tasting, where you will learn about vodka drinking traditions. When the excursions concludes, your guide will accompany you back to the Metro Station
