Your tour begins when your transfer collects you from your hotel, after which you will embark on a three hour sight-seeing adventure through the heart of Krasnoyarsk. You have the opportunity to explore the main sites of the city, including a visit to Mira Square, the oldest street in Krasnoyarsk, as well as Lenin Square and Theatre Square.
While exploring the heart of the city, set your eyes on some of the region’s famous landmarks, including the monument devoted to Andrew Dubenskoy and the monument dedicated to notable Russian author and playwright, Anton Chekhov.
Fall in love with Siberia’s most charming city as your tour guide leads you to the Yenisey Quay, where you be captivated by the striking views of the surrounding mountains. While on route, take a moment to absorb the Siberian culture, and then listen as your guide enthrals you with a recount of the city’s rich history.
After enjoying the marvellous views of the city while strolling the banks of the Yenisey River, you will continue to the Yenisey docks to get a glimpse of St Nikolai, the steamship that transported Lenin from Krasnoyarsk to Shushenskoye.
Next on the itinerary is the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum, one of the oldest museums in Siberia. Once you have made your way into the museum, you will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of life how it was lived by the Shamans who inhabited the region, which involves dressing in traditional Shaman costumes and discovering relics telling the story of their culture and rituals.
Your excursion ends after you have explored the museum, at which time your transfer will drop you off at an agreed destination where you will say “Do svidaniya” (goodbye) to your friendly guide.
