Day 1 - Arrival in Beijing
Your tour starts in Beijing, where your transfer will be waiting for you at the airport, or train station, to take you to your accommodation.
Day 2 - Beijing Free Day
You have the freedom to explore, and experience, the majesty of the Chinese capital at your leisure.
Day 3 - Depart Beijing
Pack, and prepare to check-out, then make the most of what Beijing has to offer on your final day in the city before you are provided with a transfer to the railway station, where our guide will advise, and assist, in purchasing provisions for the train if desired, accompany you to the platform, ensure that everyone is settled into their cabins and answer any last minute questions.
Day 4 - Northern China
After a brief stop at the Chinese border, where the trains 'bogies' will be changed, you will continue on to Zabaykalsk, before heading off for Siberia and, eventually, Moscow.
Day 5 - Chinese Border
After a brief stop at Zabaykalsk, the last Russian city, your day on the train will take you to the Chinese border before heading off for Moscow.
Day 6 - Irkutsk and Lake Baikal
Travelling past the amazing Lake Baikal and through the cities of Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk, you will spend the day on the train, heading deep into Siberia.
Day 7 - Heading into Eurasia
After passing through Novosibirsk, the largest city in Siberia, the train will head for the historic Yekaterinburg and the Ural Mountains, crossing the border between Asia and Europe, around 1,000 miles east of Moscow.
Day 8 - European Russia
Spending the day on the train, you will head past the ex-military city of Perm, the great industrial city of Kirov, and the beautiful cities of the Golden Ring.
Day 9 - Arrive in Moscow
At the end of this day you will reach your destination, the Russian Capital of Moscow, where your transfer will be waiting to pick you up.

Your tour starts in the ancient city of Beijing. On route to Moscow enjoy the ever changing scenery as you travel past the Great Wall, northwards through the ancient paddy fields and the modern city of Harbin, towards Russia and the vast expanse that is Siberia. Entering Siberia you will pass the largest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Baikal, before moving westward through the vast steppes and forests of Eurasia, passing the Ural Mountains into European Russia before finally arriving in Moscow.
