Thanks everyone for there help.

We've booked Sri Lanka for 2 weeks at the end of March.

We fly from St Petersburg to Moscow Domodedovo then onto Dubai before flying onto Colombo.

Allowed ourself plenty of time in the connections - 4 hours on the way out of Moscow and 5 hours on the way back in case of any hiccups.

Sri Lanka here we come!

Not booked a Hotel yet, still deciding where looks best to relax there but the main thing is the flight is booked!

Colombo is the capital of Sri Lanka, we will fly into Colombo, not sure where we will stay yet but the best places appear to be 2 or 3 hours drive from Colombo.

I'll be looking out for a short old man with grey whispery hair and a brown jacket!
