| Hi All,
It is great for having me in this forum. I found many useful things and information here. Apology because I do not know the questions has been addressed before but hopefully someone can give me some guidance.
I’ve got married last year with my Russian Wife, (We’ve been together since 2008 and married in 2011 in Prague, Czech Republic). Currently I am located in the UK with Work Permit (Employed) and she is in Moscow.
We are planning to apply a spouse/wife visa (Dependent of Work Permit Holder), I would like to find out the full list of Supporting Documents from myself and her for this application. It would be so great too to know whether she need to take English Test and the list of English test that qualify for the application?
My Work Permit will expire in Oct 2012 and i can apply for ILR after because been with WPfor 5 years. I have two choices here 1) Apply Spouse Visa for wife come here before WP expire. 2) Apply Spouse Visa after successful my ILR.
I think it will be tough for her to get spouse visa after my ILR. Are there any chance in Option 1 when i apply ILR i can put her as dependent too. (Which mean one application for both of us - save on application fees) Correct me if i am wrong.
Looking forward to all and many thanks.

Location: London | The first question is what is your nationality and what passport do you hold? |

Location: Edinburgh/Tula/Bogoroditsk | If you can wait 36 hours I may be able to speak to someone who is probably in your situation with getting a wife across as I work with a fair amount of offshore partners who are based in the UK, although he is on a work permit and receives assistance from his company with application. |

Location: London | Your wife will have to pass the English test regardless of which route you take. The pass level is A1 which is pretty basic and there is a list of tests on the UKBA website. Your wife may be able to enter as a dependent on your ILR application but you need to check this with the UKBA.

| Cheers Malcolm for fast reply. I also found TOEFL test centre in Moscow with iBT (Internet test) and PBT (Paper Test). Both are acceptable by UKBA and the only difference btw the two was iBT runs more test than PBT. Thanks
