Real Russia

Providing you with all your Russian visa needs

Apply for your Russian visa with confidence

Real Russia can help to obtain Russian visas for UK citizens and many foreign nationals wishing to visit the Russian Federation. We offer two basic types of service depending on the purpose of your visit, how long you wish the visa to be valid for and how many times you expect to visit within the visa validity period.

You can be confident that all hidden fees are taken care of when using our Russian visa application service, meaning the price you see is the price you pay! What’s more, you do not have to book a flight, visit the Russian Visa Application Centre yourself, or provide your own Letter of Invitation. However, should you wish to visit our London office to apply for your Russian visa or make your application in person then this can also be arranged.

  • Russian ministry processing charges and local taxes.
  • Fees for all visa support documents and letters of invitation.
  • Consular tariffs and visa centre charges (if applicable).
  • Delivery, collection and management of your application at the Consulate by our staff.
  • Expert support.
  • Peace of mind!

Optional extras:

  • Central London courier delivery the day your visa is ready.
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery of your passport and Russian visa back to you (UK only).
  • £2,500 of consequential loss postal insurance (UK mainland only).
Important information for UK applicants:
Our full visa service only applies to customers submitting or applying for their visa/s through the Russian Visa Application Centre in London. Unfortunately, we do not have an office near the Consulates in Manchester or Edinburgh and therefore cannot extend this full service to UK applicants wanting to submit their visa support documents in these locations; although we can still help with Russian visa invitations.

A Russian visa is an official document issued by the Russian Federation that allows you to stay in Russia for a specified period of time. The visa will list your name, passport details, reason for travel, along with your entry and exit dates. Russian visas are stamped on a passport by the Russian Embassy. There are many types of Russian visa available including general tourist, business, transit, work, study visas and more.

A Russian tourist visa is issued to travellers visiting Russia for tourist and leisure purposes or short business visits. The trip can consist of either a single or double-entry during a maximum validity period of 30 days. The tourist visa will be issued for the exact days you have requested or that are stated on the invitation if you should be providing this document yourself.

Tourist visas are the most efficient visa for a short trip to Russia with a known destination. Click to find out more about Real Russia’s full range of Russian visas for tourists.

Russian business visas are usually issued to travellers visiting Russia on official or private business and allow you to travel when and where you wish within the visa’s validity period. A business visa can be issued for varied reasons, including cultural relationships, accompanying family members and commercial driving.

If you wish to apply for your own visa directly with the Russian Consulate, you will be required to provide a Russian Letter of Invitation (visa support document), from a licensed organisation in Russia. This organisation will be your official sponsor for both the processing of your visa at the Consulate and the Russian authorities while you are in the country.

You can be confident that a visa invitation letter from Real Russia is genuine and that our company, as your official sponsor, will be on hand to help you while in Russia if you need us!

Understanding your Russian visa can be tricky since this is often written in Russian with no direct English translation. We have created a short guide on how to read your Russian visa with a description of what each field on the visa means and where this can be found.

A Russian visa for tourists will cost anything between £100 to £150 in the UK for a single-entry visa and around £150 to £200 for a double-entry visa. Please note that you may still be required to pay for the tourist invitation letter separately, arrange your own travel to the RVAC, and may need to queue when you get to the RVAC to submit your biometrics (which can take a few hours).

If you are a UK applicant and apply for a single-entry Russian tourist visa through us this will cost approximately £144, and within this we will provide various benefits including a free tourist invitation letter, help with your application and more.

You have several options to pay for your visa including:

You are required to provide your biometric data (fingerprints) when applying for a Russian visa.

See our Russian biometrics page for more information on how the Russian visa biometric process works and where to submit your fingerprints.
