After pickup from your hotel, you will embark on your cultural and culinary exploration of Ulan-Ude, which starts with a short drive to Verkhnyaya Berezoka. After arriving at Baatarai Urgo, meaning ‘brave warrior’, commence your culinary discovery and become part of an incredibly unique culture. At first glance, what seemingly looks like a traditional yurt transforms into a café, decorated with statues of Mongol armour, ancient Buryat furniture, you’re your hosts dressed in traditional satin costumes.
Prepare yourself for an authentic and traditional dining experience, possibly starting with a traditional folk show including, music, dance, and possibly throat singing. After being inspired by the magnificent performance, you will choose your preferred dishes from the menu, which may include traditional dishes such as bukheler, khiime, buuz, khushur, and omul. Once you have enjoyed your delicious meal, continue outdoors to admire the incredible landscape before heading back to the city, where your excursion ends with hotel drop off.
