This tour will cover the most famous landmarks around the city centre and give you the quintessential St. Petersburg experience.
You’ll be able to spot the famous sights in downtown St. Petersburg, including the Nevsky Prospekt, the centre of this bustling city. As it runs from the Admiralty to the Moscow Railway Station up to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery, it takes you past some of the most historic sites, beautiful buildings, squares and bridges.
During the excursion you will also see the Alexander Nevsky Monastery; founded several years after the foundation of St.Petersburg, it is home to some of the oldest buildings in the city.
Moving on, you will have a chance to adore the famous Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood, beautiful Kazansky Cathedral and St. Isaac’s Cathedral. You will see the iconic Palace Square with the Hermitage, as well as 73 m tall Admiralty tower with its gleaming spire, located on the Neva river.
The tour doesn’t end there as you will also see Peter-and-Paul Fortress, the first structure and a major landmark in Saint Petersburg. You will visit the Field of Mars, a large park in the centre of St.Petersburg, whose history dates back to the beginning of the city’s history.
