“The Novosibirsk Opera and Theatre”

The Trans-Siberian traveller’s paradise with history at every turn

Your Novosibirsk exploration starts at the centre of the city, where you get to discover more about its history on Lenin Square, and see the colossal monument of Lenin proudly overlooking his city, and then we continue on to the Novosibirsk railway station, the largest station on the Trans-Siberian railroad.

On route we will visit to the world renowned Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, one of the largest opera houses in Russia, and the largest in Siberia. Next on the itinerary is the old wooden merchant homes on Gorkogo Street, where we will be transported back in time and experience life how it was lived in 1917.

The sight-seeing venture proceeds with a short visit to the geographic centre of Russia, St Nicolas Chapel, and then a stroll along the River Ob embankment to admire the breath-taking views stretching into the distance. The excursion concludes after visiting the Siberian farmers market where you can try a few Siberian delicacies, afterwards you have the option to visit one museum of your choice (entrance ticket to the museum is to be paid separately), which may include the Trans-Siberian museum.
