Though the Mutianyu Great Wall is a little further from Beijing than the most popular section at Badaling, you’ll get to experience the sights and features with much more enjoyment in this quieter, less crowded section of the wall.

With spectacular views and numerous watch towers, this part of the wall is fully restored and offers you a full experience of the Great Wall, one of the most famous sights of the country.

In this quieter area, you’ll be at one with your surroundings and can travel back in time to experience what the wall would have felt like when it was first built. Mutianyu is full of authentic Chinese culture as one of the less tourist-filled spots and you can stop along the way to revel in its charm as you experience the real China with this authentic and historic tour.
