One of the greatest wonders of the world, the Great Wall expands from the east to the west of China. The longest wall in the entire world is a breath-taking conquest in ancient defence fortification, and its architectural magnificence will leave you awe-struck, while intrigued by its historical significance.
Beyond the large crowds and long queues, your local tour guide will lead you to discover the greatest historical symbol of China. From a distance, the astounding steppes opens up to expose the breath-taking and colossal fortress, a wonder to behold, the Great Wall in all its majesty. After you have explored a section of the Great Wall, and marvelled at the incredible views spreading across the distance, you and your guide will continue to the Ming Tomb to walk amid the Great Emperors of China, through the sacred path that will lead you explore either the Chang or Ding tombs.
The final stop on route takes you to the royal residence of the Qing Dynasty, the Yiheyuan ancient imperial fortress, Summer Palace. Feel as though you are an emperor as you explore the royal gardens, where you will revel at the vast landscapes, hills and magnificent lakes. Before your tour concludes, unearth the history of ancient China, and savour the delightful flavours of authentic Chinese cuisine, after which your tour guide will accompany you back to your accommodation.
