Vladivostok, the ruler of the east, an incredible city where there are magnitudes of magnificent discoveries awaiting travellers beginning or completing their Trans-Siberian adventure. Once the gateways to Russia’s pacific fleet, where the “Defenders of the Fatherland” stood to secure the boarders, now the remarkable city that stretches across unending peaks, and surrounded by the Pacific Ocean waters awaits your arrival.

The pursuit to discover Vladivostok begins when your tour guide meets you at your hotel, then you will proceed to venture through the once secret city, which despite only recently opening its arms to visitors, is a cultural and historical centre. On route you will uncover the treasured sights that makes this city unlike any other, starting at the Vladivostok railway station, the official ‘Terminus of the Great Trans-Siberian Railroad’, or the beginning, as it was when the first stone that built the railways was laid by Tsar Nicolas II.

Continue to Revolutionary Square, where you will see honour and pride reflected in commemoration to the heroes who fought to defend their country, and admire the monuments devoted to the “City of Military Glory”. Along the way, you will see the Vladivostok GUM, then enjoy the sensational views of the bay, before proceeding to the Submarine Museum on the harbour embankment, where you will see the city’s glorious history come alive; the pacific fleet, the submarine that safeguarded the eastern boarder during the Great Patriotic War.

After being thoroughly astounded by the city’s incredible cultural and architectural landmarks, your tour concludes and your guide will accompany you back to your accommodation.
