This tour takes you straight to the amazing town of Hangzhou situated, in 210 km from Shanghai, as you visit Lingyin Temple, Dragon Well Green Tea plantation and enjoy a West Lake Cruise.
The Lingyin Buddhist Temple was built in 326 AD and is one of the largest and wealthiest in the country. It sits at the foot of Lingyin Mountain with a hall over 33m in height, a statue of Sakyamuni carved out of 24 pieces of camphor wood and a laughing Buddha covered in gold. This stunning piece of architecture will take your breath away.
Your tour will continue to the Chinese Traditional Medicine Museum of Huqinqyu Hall before you visit Dragon Well Green Tea plantation, where you will admire the breathtaking scenery around you.
The most impressive, however, is the West Lake Cruise. This lake is considered to be one of the most beautiful sights in Hangzhou, sheltered on three sides by hills that create one of the most serene and impressive views. You’ll be charmed as you cruise over the lake and admire the gorgeous setting which feels magical yet so very real.
