“Kolomenskoye Park Palace, Moscow”
Kolomenskoe is a vital part of Russian culture as one of the most exquisite places in Moscow.
It is steeped in ancient history with archaeological traces dating back over 2,500 years making the area even more authentic than the Kremlin.
The park is tranquil and beautiful and has been a huge part of history housing Grand Princes, Tsars and even Peter the Great. There are incredible wooden structures and astounding Churches such as the Church of the Ascension of the Lord which is still one of the most unique churches in the country.
Kolomenskoe is right on the banks of the river, making the spot even more peaceful as well as the sights of more churches, golden architecture and the ancient cemetery.
It glistens in the sunlight and is magical in the winter and is a must see whenever you choose to visit this fantastic town.
