Primorye area is endowed with glorious hills, enchanting forests, picturesque beaches and coastal landscapes as well as the most exquisite bays with beautiful underwater animals and plants. A huge part of the island is covered in thick forest and has even been nicknamed Vladivostok’s lungs. The island was transformed in 2012 when it hosted the APEC Summit, building a bridge which connects Russky Island with the mainland as well as an international business centre and hotels. They also built the Far Eastern University campus here and an oceanarium, one of the brightest sights in the Far East and the area soon became a popular summer beach resort.
The excursion will start with crossing twp enormous cable-stayed bridges cross the Golden Horn Bay and Eastern Bosporus strait. During the tour you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in a quaint café before visiting the Voroshilovskaya Battery on the territory of an actual military base at Russky Island. The architecture of the building is over 80 years old and is extremely impressive with all its complex mechanisms and functions. The scenery paints a military portrait as you’ll see the modern Pacific Navy warships stationed in the heart of Vladivostok.
