“The State Russian Museum, St Petersburg”
Stroll down the authentic Russian streets for a real experience of the country as you travel to the exquisite Russian Museum, one of the most famous museums in the country.
You will travel by public transport with your guide to the door of the Russian Museum, the first state museum of the Russian fine art in the country. It was established in 1895 in St. Petersburg under the decree of the Emperor Nicholas II and had its grand opening for its visitors on March 19 1898.
Today it is full of unique artistic treasures, a restoration centre and an authoritative institute of academic research. It is also one of the major cultural and education centres, overseeing the activities of 260 art museums of Russia. Today The Russian Museum holds around 400,000 exhibits so you’ll have plenty to immerse yourself in to experience the beautiful culture and art of St. Petersburg.

Restrictions: Unavailable Tuesdays, New Years Eve and New Years Day – No Restrictions but involves walking. – Transfer by car can be organised for additional cost.
