Your incredible journey starts with your tour guide whisking you back in time for an inside view of ancient China. Proceed to Tiananmen towers, the gate of heavenly peace and walk through Beijing’s historical centre. Discover the monuments devoted to the people’s heroes, the National Museum of China, and see honour reflected in the daily national flag rising ceremony.
Continue to the Forbidden City, the imperial residence of the Ming and Qing Dynasty. Feel as though you are an emperor as you walk through the meridian gates, once reserved only for the use of the Emperors. Away from the crowds, get a spectacular glimpse into the history of the Forbidden City, marvel at the architecture splendour of the palaces as you enter the ceremonial courtyards, and for a moment, experience life how it was lived by the Emperors who ruled China for nearly 500 years.
You and your local guide will proceed to one of the oldest imperial gardens in China, The Beihai Park, where you will unearth its millennial history. There are an incredible hills, bridges, glorious temples, and many more breath-taking wonders to explore.
You have the opportunity to delve into the Chinese way of life on the Hutong tour, where you will explore the Chinese traditions, experience their culture, and learn about folk art in Beijing while riding a richshaw. As your spectacular journey comes to an end, your guide will escort you back to your accommodation.
