Moscow
Russia’s official capital, Moscow, is the political and religious heart of the country. The city has the highest density of billionaires, is the world’s most populated inland city and boasts six out of Europe’s ten tallest buildings. It continues to be a major tourist destination in Europe growing year on year with famous attractions including Red Square, St Basil’s Cathedral, and the Kremlin.
Day 1
Arrival in Moscow
Kick your holiday off with a stay in the Russian capital, Moscow. Your driver will meet you at the scheduled arrival point (airport or railway station) and take you to your hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax in your hotel room, gather your bearings with a short walk on your own, or go out for dinner to one of Moscow’s many restaurants.

Day 2
Walking tour of the Moscow Kremlin and Sparrow Hill viewpoint
After a leisurely breakfast our guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at 10:00am to begin the first of the day’s activities – a walking tour of the Moscow Kremlin and cathedrals. The heart of Russian capital, the Moscow Kremlin is a symbol of the nation and a unique architectural ensemble including major attractions such as the Cathedral of the Annunciation, Assumption Cathedral and the Ivan the Great Bell Tower.
After stopping for lunch, the tour of Moscow continues by car from Red Square, taking in some of Moscow’s most well-known sites including the magnificent St Basil’s Cathedral, followed by a photo stop at Sparrow Hills for panoramic views across Moscow. Your tour will end with a visit to some of the most popular locations within the city including Poklonnaya Hill Memorial Complex, New Arbat and Pushkin Square. After your tour you will be taken back to your hotel. You will have some free time in the evening to explore the city on your own or go out for an evening meal at one of Moscow’s superb restaurants.

Suzdal
Suzdal is one of the oldest towns in Russia and is part of Russia’s popular Golden Ring. In the 12th century it was the capital of the principality. The town has several UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the blue and gold domed Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral built in the 13th century by Yury II and the 14th century Saviour Monastery of St Euthymius built under the orders of Suzdal-Nizhniy Novgorod Prince Konstantin.
Day 3
Begin your Golden Ring Tour in Suzdal
After an early morning breakfast and check out your driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to Moscow train station where you will catch the 2-hour bullet train to Vladimir. Your guide will be waiting for you in Vladimir before taking you on a 50-minute car journey to Suzdal where your Golden Ring tour will begin.
After lunch in Suzdal, you will begin a sightseeing tour that includes a visit to the architectural masterpieces of the Kremlin dating back to the 10th century and the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ. You will then have the option to visit the Spaso-Euthymius Monastery for an exclusive bell-ringing experience or visit an open-air wooden architecture museum.
After a long day in Suzdal your tour will end at your hotel where you can get some well needed rest and an evening meal prepared especially for you.

Vladimir
One of Russia’s medieval capitals dating back to the 12th century, Vladimir is a popular tourist destination on Russia’s Golden Ring. It is home to various cathedrals, a monastery and other landmarks that have been designated as UNSECO World Heritage Sites including the imposing white stone towers of the Golden Gates as well as the St Demetrius Cathedral, Dormition Cathedral and Assumption Cathedral.
Day 4
Golden Ring Tour of Bogolyubovo and Vladimir
After spending the night in Suzdal and getting a spot of breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to take you on a 45-minute journey to Bogolyubovo, the residence of Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky. Here, you will explore this 12th century residence and one of Russia’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin on the Nerl River.
On completing your tour of Bogolyubovo you will be taken back to Vladimir for lunch before starting a full city tour visiting key sites in the heart of Vladimir. You will see the white-stoned Assumption Cathedral with world famous frescos created by Andrei Rublev, the small one-headed cathedral of St. Dmitry, and the Golden Gate, considered to be the door to Vladimir.
Your tour will end at Vladimir railway station at 19:00 where you will board the bullet train back to Moscow. Your driver will be waiting upon exiting your carriage and will take you to your hotel ready for check-in.

Day 5
Visit to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow
After a spot of breakfast, we will start our 4-hour guided walking tour of the Tretyakov Gallery. The Tretyakov is one of Russia’s most famous art galleries boasting a collection of more than 100 000 works of art including graphics, sculptures and paintings that explore Russia’s unique history.
Once the gallery tour has ended there will be a short metro ride back to the hotel, where you will be free to relax or roam the city centre for the rest of the day, or book one of our optional Moscow activities or excursions.

Departure from Moscow
On the morning of departure, you will have breakfast at your hotel before having some additional free time to do anything you missed.
Hotel check-out is any time before 12:00 noon. Your driver will pick you up from outside the hotel at the time agreed and transfer you to your arranged departure point.
