Fit to Fly - Travel to Russia

The Russian government requires all arriving passengers to obtain and present a negative COVID-19 test certificate dated less than 72 hours before travel. You should check the specific COVID-19 test requirements airlines have in place in advance of your flight. Different airlines have different requirements and may refuse boarding if they are not met.

Please visit Entry requirements - Russia travel advice - GOV.UK, to check the entry rules.

Currently, Russia is on the Amber list for entering England. From 19th July 2021, arrivals who have been fully vaccinated with an NHS administered vaccine in the UK (plus 14 days), or are on a formally approved UK vaccine clinical trial, returning to England from Amber list countries, will no longer need to quarantine – passengers will need to provide proof of their vaccination status to carriers in advance of travel. Pre-departure testing and day 2 testing measures will remain, and children under the age of 18 will be exempt from quarantine on returning to England from Amber list countries.

For further information please visit GOV.UK's Quarantine and testing page for Amber list countries from 19th July.
